PERSPECTIVE

In Monochrome is a collection built around a simple belief: sometimes less reveals more.

By removing colour, attention shifts to what remains—light, shadow, texture, expression, and form. What might otherwise be overlooked becomes impossible to ignore. This way of seeing has shaped much of my photographic work, influencing how I approach both street photography and portraiture.

APPROACH

These images are not about nostalgia or imitation. They are about reduction—stripping a scene down to its essential elements and allowing contrast, composition, and human presence to carry the story.

Whether photographed on busy city streets or in quiet moments with a subject, the goal remains the same: create images that feel cinematic, honest, and enduring. The photographs in this collection reflect my preferred visual language and the foundation of how I approach photography as a whole.

This is not simply a portfolio of black and white images. It is a study of observation, atmosphere, and the moments that reveal themselves when distractions are removed.
